Bedfordia Developments undertook a long term promotion of land (in the ownership of Bedfordia and a joint party) for a strategic urban extension in north Bedford.

Bedfordia successfully achieved planning permission for 550 dwellings, namely a wide range of house types and affordable housing.  

Along with their consultant team, Bedfordia worked to maximise the end value of the scheme by discharging all pre-commencement conditions. The scheme was subsequently sold to Persimmon.

A charitable trust related to Bedfordia developed a 60 bed care home and 22 assisted living apartments. The permission also included an extensive Country Park and sports facilities for public use.
