John is the Chairman of Bedfordia Group and of Bedfordia Developments, the third generation of the Ibbett family to lead the Group.
Under John’s leadership and vision the business has grown and flourished and currently comprises extensive interests in residential and commercial property investment and property development and a substantial arable and livestock farming business, farming in excess of 2,400 hectares.
John has overseen the successful delivery of two major strategic land developments in North Bedford and West Bedford, delivering a combined total of approximately 3,000 homes in the local area.
Nick is responsible for all of Bedfordia’s property interests and projects. At Bedfordia, Nick has dealt with a number of large scale schemes including the promotion and sale of development land at West Bedford to David Wilson Homes, delivery of a state of the art £10m BMW & MINI dealership near Cambridge, and the development of a network of anaerobic digestion plants throughout the UK for Biogen, a former Bedfordia Group business.
Prior to joining Bedfordia Nick was Head of Property at Mowlem plc and managed a UK-wide portfolio and undertook projects on behalf of development subsidiary Maple Oak Plc.
Group Financial Controller
Terry works closely with the management team and holds responsibility for managing the Group and Property finance functions, reporting, internal controls, budgets and all IT & telephony.
Terry joined Bedfordia’s automotive division in 2004 as Assistant Accountant. Following the sale of the automotive businesses in 2014, he took up the role of Group Management Accountant for Bedfordia Group.
Director of Business Support
Jane first joined Bedfordia Group in 2013 as Head of Human Resources. In her current role, she provides business support to the Property and Agriculture operating businesses, Chairman and Directors by co-ordinating the deployment of resources and managing projects in order to increase value and achieve the Group’s set objectives.
